Anaheim, CA – One Injured in Motorcycle Accident on SR-91 Near Weir Canyon

Anaheim, CA (June 8, 2022) – One person was severely injured in a motorcycle accident that took place on a local highway in Anaheim on Tuesday afternoon, June 7.

According to California Highway Patrol officials, the accident happened at 3:46 p.m. on SR-91 around the area of Weir Canyon. A motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not fully known. The motorcycle sustained severe damage as a result of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was injured in the accident. The party was taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
