Fatal Car Accidents in California

California leads the nation with the busiest and most dangerous roadways in the country. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2018 more than 3,500 people were killed in car accidents in California. Each year thereafter has had similar amounts of traffic fatalities. In the first three months of 2022, there were already over 1,000 deaths related to car accidents. There are many reasons accidents happen in California, such as texting while driving, speeding, impaired driving, or simply failing to yield or stop at traffic lights and stop signs. More than one-third of all road fatalities in the US are caused by reckless driving.

Losing a loved one is never an easy thing to deal with. This is especially true when their passing came unexpectedly and tragically. However, filing a wrongful death suit against a negligent party can ensure that you get justice for your deceased family member and can help you to cope with their loss
