Buena Park, CA – Woman Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Western Ave
Buena Park, CA (April 12, 2022) – A woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash that took place at a Buena Park intersection on Tuesday morning, April 12.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 6:08 a.m. at the intersection of Western Avenue and Fillmore Drive. A female pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was crossing the street at the time. She was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle that was traveling through the intersection. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
