The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recorded 3,606 traffic-related fatalities and 3,316 vehicle accidents in its 2019 annual report. If you’ve been in a vehicle accident, no matter how minor you think your injuries are, you should be checked out at the nearest hospital or by a doctor just to be safe. Without proper care, even a seemingly slight injury may have a major effect on a person’s quality of life. Sadly, many people who have been hurt in accidents decide against getting treatment for their wounds. Furthermore, these people are prevented from filing a personal injury claim and subsequently receiving fair recompense for their ordeal.

Injuries sustained in an accident may, needless to say, have serious consequences for the victim’s health. While minor scrapes and bruises are common after an accident, the more serious injuries that can be traced back to the cause are rare.
