Cypress, CA – Fatal Four-Vehicle Collision at Crescent Ave & Watson St

Cypress, CA (February 18, 2022) – Around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday evening, February 15, a fatal four-vehicle collision took place at an intersection in Cypress.

According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Crescent Avenue and Watson Street. Crews arrived at the scene, where they found that four vehicles had become involved in a collision with each other due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles collided with a power pole and caught on fire.

Several responders, including local fire crews and paramedics, were immediately dispatched to the scene to assist those in need. A male was found inside the vehicle that caught on fire. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries. It is not known if anyone else was hurt in the accident.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
