Fullerton, CA – Man Killed in Train Accident at W Commonwealth Ave & S Brookhurst Rd

Fullerton, CA (March 29, 2022) – On Monday morning, March 28, a man was killed in a fatal train accident that took place in Fullerton.

According to officials, the accident happened around 6:29 a.m. at the intersection of West Commonwealth Avenue and South Brookhurst Road. When officials arrived at the scene, they found that a male victim was crossing over the train tracks in the area when he was suddenly struck by an oncoming train.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help. The unidentified male victim was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Police reported that there were 89 passengers and 5 crew members on the train but none of them sustained injuries.

Service in the area was halted for several hours as police worked to clear the scene.
