Fullerton, CA – One Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Harbor Blvd & Southgate Ave

Fullerton, CA (June 27, 2022) – Around 1:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday, June 27, a pedestrian accident led to a fatality in Fullerton.

According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Southgate Avenue. A 36-year-old male pedestrian was walking in the area and pushing a cart filled with a variety of belongings. He started to walk through the intersection when he was suddenly struck by a white Dodge Charger that was traveling south in the area. After being struck, he was also struck by a black Jeep Wrangler and a white Honda Civic. All three of the vehicles continued driving onward without stopping.

Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was severely injured in the collision. He was rushed to a local hospital for his injuries and was pronounced dead while there.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police worked to clear the scene so traffic could return to normal.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
