Fullerton, CA – Two Passengers Killed in Car Crash on 91 Fwy

Fullerton, CA (February 7, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, February 6, two passengers were killed in a fatal car crash in Fullerton.

California Highway Patrol officials confirmed that the accident happened around 2:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway around the area of Harbor Boulevard. A driver was traveling on the highway in the area when they suddenly lost control of their vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. The driver crashed the vehicle, which led to extensive damages.

Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene. They found three people unresponsive inside the vehicle. Two passengers in the vehicle, identified as a 35-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, were severely injured. One of the passengers died at the scene and the other died at a hospital. The driver, who has not yet been identified, was also hospitalized. Their current condition is not yet known.

Several westbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time after the collision. Police did not say if the driver will be facing any charges or not.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
