Huntington Beach, CA – Four Injured in Auto Accident on Brookhurst St near Yorktown Ave
Huntington Beach, CA (August 3, 2022) – Several victims were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident early Sunday morning in the Huntington Beach area. At around 2 a.m., on July 31, the Huntington Beach Police Department and firefighters were called to the site of a crash that occurred on Brookhurst Street.
Reports provided by authorities show that a Hyundai SUV and an unknown number of vehicles collided on Brookhurst Street at the intersection of Yorktown Avenue in the city of Huntington Beach. One of the vehicles then struck a power pole near the intersection.
A total of 4 people suffered injuries due to the motor vehicle accident. One person was trapped inside the vehicle. It took firefighters 15 minutes to remove the driver. All four victims were transported to area hospitals, where they underwent medical care.
The Huntington Beach Police Department is investigating the crash at this time.
