Pedestrian Accidents in California

Pedestrians are some of the most at-risk parties on our roads when it comes to accidents in California. This is due to the fact that they have no protection from harm in the event of an accident, especially with a large vehicle. California actually sees more pedestrian accidents than many other states in the entire U.S. Between the years 2009 and 2018, it was estimated that approximately 7,500 pedestrians were killed in California pedestrian accidents. This means that hundreds of pedestrians lose their lives and many others are injured each year.
