Irvine, CA – Injuries Reported in Car Accident in NB Lanes of I-405
Irvine, CA (April 7, 2022) – Around 2:13 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, April 7, a car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Irvine.
According to Orange County officials, the accident happened around in the northbound lanes of I-405 around the area of Macarthur Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, all northbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
