Irvine, CA – Three Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Jamboree Rd at Main St

Irvine, CA (May 19, 2023) – On Friday, May 19, several vehicles collided head-on in Irvine, sending three people to the hospital.

Irvine Police said that at around 2:20 p.m., four cars collided on Jamboree Road near the junction with Main Street.

According to news footage taken at the site, a white SUV took the brunt of the impact and flipped onto its side. The back ends of the other three cars were smashed.

Reports provided by the Orange County Fire Authority added that two persons were trapped in their vehicles and had to be freed by firefighters. No further information on the injured victims was provided.

The accident’s cause has yet to be determined, though an investigation continues.
