Laguna Hills, CA – Car Crash in NB Lanes of I-5 Near La Paz Rd

Laguna Hills, CA (February 11, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car crash that took place on a major highway in Laguna Hills on Friday afternoon, February 11.

According to California Highway Patrol officials, the accident happened around 2:52 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-5 around the area of La Paz Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, multiple northbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
