Long Beach, CA – Three Injured in Partial Silo Collapse at the Long Beach Port on Pier F Ave

Long Beach, CA (July 11, 2022) – A total of three people were hospitalized with injuries after a silo partially collapsed in the Long Beach area on Sunday evening. At around 4:30 p.m., on July 10, the Long Beach fire department and the Long Beach Police Department responded to the scene of an accident that occurred on Pier F Avenue.

Reports provided by authorities show that a silo partially collapsed at the Long Beach port located off Pier F Avenue. The incident left a total of three workers injured.

Two workers were hospitalized with significant injuries as a result of the accident. A third victim suffered minor injuries. All three victims were transported to St. Mary Medical Center for emergency medical care.

At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation by the Long Beach Police Department.
