Los Angeles, CA – One Killed Following Multi-Car Crash at I-170 & 134 FWY
Los Angeles, CA (November 12, 2022) – On Wednesday evening, November 9, a multi-car accident was reported in Los Angeles that resulted in the tragic death of one person.
According to officials, the accident occurred in the evening, around 10 p.m. The accident occurred when multiple vehicles were traveling in the same vicinity in the roadway connecting the two freeways, Interstate 170 and 134 Freeway, in Los Angeles. Multiple vehicles merged into the same space on the road and collided, and resulted in subsequent collisions involving more vehicles. This is a developing story and the total number of vehicles involved and their description has not been reported at this time.
Paramedics were called to the scene to help those hurt in the accident. Paramedics helped people from their vehicles and rendered aid to all parties. Sadly, one person died as a result of the injuries they sustained in the accident. They were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Their identity has not been released at this time pending notification of their next of kin. There is no information at this time regarding how many other people were injured in the accident.
The force of the impact caused major damage to the vehicles, blocked the roadway, and caused traffic to be backed up. Traffic was diverted while crews helped people from their cars, tended to injuries, and cleaned up the wreckage.
