Mission Viejo, CA – Elderly Man Killed in Bicycle Crash an Entidad & Los Alisos Blvd

Mission Viejo, CA (August 2, 2022) – A man was killed in a fatal bicycle accident that took place at a Mission Viejo intersection on Tuesday morning, August 2.

According to local officials, the accident happened around 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, August 2. The accident took place at the intersection of Entidad and Los Alisos Boulevard. A male bicyclist was traveling in the area when his bicycle was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. It is believed that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The bicyclist, who has since been identified as a 78-yer-old man, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It is not believed that anybody else was hurt in the collision.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time following the collision. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
