Mission Viejo, CA (February 27, 2024) – At approximately 9:35 p.m. on Monday, Orange County Fire Authority firefighters were dispatched to a two-story house fire in Mission Viejo. When Engine 19 arrived on the scene, firefighters said that the majority of the home was completely consumed in flames.

EMTs were also dispatched to the scene of the blaze and administered essential medical intervention to a resident who had suffered burn injuries and apparent smoke inhalation. Authorities are presently conducting a thorough investigation to identify the contributing factors that resulted in the house fire and have not released further details in the interim. Any witnesses to the incident were asked to contact the Orange County Fire Authority or Mission Viejo Police Department.
