Orange, CA (April 26, 2022) – Victims were injured in a car accident that took place on a major roadway in Orange on Tuesday night, April 26.
According to California Highway Patrol officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of SR-55 around the area of Chapman Avenue. One or more vehicles were traveling in the area in the southbound lanes when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
