Automobile collisions are an unfortunate aspect of our daily existence, particularly in the Golden State. Due to the fact that many of our cities are designed around the use of private automobiles, it goes without saying that hazardous highway congestion and high-speed collisions are largely inevitable.
In fact, every year in California, nearly 200,000 automobile accidents result in injuries. The estimated number of reported and unreported incidents would increase to more than half a million if every minor accident in which no sustained injuries were added. And tragically, each year, over 3,000 accidents result in fatalities.
