Pedestrian Accidents in California

Pedestrian accidents are known for being some of the most severe accidents on our roads in California. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no protection from harm when involved in an accident with any type of large vehicle. In 2018, it was estimated that approximately 893 pedestrians lost their lives in California pedestrian accidents, which was a 26% increase from 2014.

The truth is, these accidents can typically be prevented but continue to occur due to the reckless acts of others every year. Drivers are urged to pay close attention to the roads around them so that pedestrian accidents can be prevented. If you have lost someone you love in one of these accidents, you should speak with an attorney that you can trust.
