Santa Ana, CA – Hit-and-Run Wreck on I-5 at El Camino Real Results in Injuries
Santa Ana, CA (May 7, 2023) – A serious vehicle collision involving injuries occurred in the Santa Ana region on Sunday evening, May 7, and was reportedly caused by a hit-and-run driver.
According to troopers from the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 close to the exit for El Camino Real. Troopers added that a series of yet-to-be-determined events caused two to three vehicles to collide in the middle of the roadway around 8:30 p.m.
Paramedics and fire crews were among the emergency personnel dispatched to the location to aid the injured. It appears that at least one person was hurt in the collision, but it’s unknown how they are doing right now.
