Santa Ana, CA – Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on S Main St

Santa Ana, CA (May 8, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, May 8, a man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Santa Ana.

Police received the call around 2:09 a.m. at 100 South Main Street. A male worker was pressure washing in a parking lot near the area of East First Street when he was suddenly struck by the driver of a dark Chevy Silverado. The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene of the crash without stopping.

Paramedics and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The male pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries. His condition is not known at this time.

The area of the parking lot was blocked off for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. Police did not say if they found the driver responsible for the accident as yet.

No further details have been released regarding the collision. Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
