Santa Ana, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 Near 17th St Leads to Injuries
Santa Ana, CA (March 13, 2022) – On Sunday morning, March 13, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries took place on a highway in Santa Ana.
Santa Ana Police confirmed that the accident happened at 7:16 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5 around the area of 17thStreet. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing them to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
