Santa Ana, CA (May 25, 2023) – On Thursday, May 25, a California Highway Patrol SIG alert was issued for a serious accident that resulted in injuries and traffic delays in Santa Ana.

According to the CHP, the accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. on eastbound State Route 91 near Weir Canyon. Authorities say the crash happened when two vehicles collided in an apparent chain reaction or rear-end crash.
