Santiago Canyon, CA – Seven Injured in Rollover Accident on Silverado Canyon Rd
Santiago Canyon, CA (July 24, 2022) – On Sunday morning, July 24, several people were injured in a rollover accident in Santiago Canyon.
Sources confirmed that the accident happened around 2:06 a.m. on Silverado Canyon Road around the area of Santiago Canyon Road. A driver was in a 2019 Toyota Highlander when the driver lost control due to reasons that are not entirely known. When crews arrived at the scene, they found a Highlander on its roof and down in a ditch.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. A total of seven people sustained injuries in the accident and were rushed to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
