Fatal Car Accidents in California

Southern California is one of the busiest and most dangerous metropolitans in the country. In California, more than 3,500 people die in traffic accidents each year. Traffic-related fatalities have increased steadily over the years, even throughout the covid-19 pandemic. In 2022, reports indicate that more than 1,000 people have died in fatal traffic accidents in just the first three months alone. There are many reasons accidents happen in California, including texting while driving, speeding, impaired driving, or failing to yield or stop at traffic lights and stop signs. Research indicates that more than one-third of all road fatalities in the US are caused by reckless driving.
