Stanton, CA (July 27, 2022) – Around 10:01 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, July 26, a hit-and-run accident with injuries occurred in Stanton.

According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of SR-57 around the area of Katella Avenue. A vehicle was allegedly traveling in the area when it struck a second vehicle and then fled the scene of the accident. The vehicle that remained at the scene sustained heavy damage as a result of the accident.

Several Stanton responders, including fire crews and paramedics, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties inside the vehicle that remained at the scene were injured as a result of the accident.
