Stockton, CA – One Killed in Fatal Crash on S Turnpike Rd

Stockton, CA (August 9, 2022) – On Saturday evening, August 6, a serious accident was reported in Stockton that killed one person and injured at least one other.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of South Turnpike Road. The accident occurred when two cars collided violently with each other.

Emergency personnel was called to the scene. One person involved in the accident suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was transferred to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. Another person from the other vehicle was also injured and transferred to the hospital for further medical care. The accident caused much damage to the involved vehicles and the area had delays as crews tended to the victims and cleared the accident.

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and its causes.
