Westminster, CA (October 16, 2023) – On Monday morning, October 16, a two-vehicle accident occurred on a highway in Westminster, and possible injuries were reported.
The accident occurred at roughly 6:00 a.m. local time, according to Westminster Police Department officers and California Highway Patrol troopers. Two drivers were traveling in the westbound lanes of California State Route 91 at State College Boulevard when traffic slowed in the left lanes, resulting in an apparent rear-end collision.
Several emergency responders, including paramedics and firefighters, were dispatched to assist those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries from the collision, and those who needed further medical care were transported to local hospitals for treatment, but their conditions are unknown.
After the collision, the road was closed for about an hour, but it has since reopened. In the meantime, the accident investigation continues, and no additional information has been released.
The injured victims and their families are in our thoughts, and we hope for their full recovery.
