Jenna Jameson Arrested for DUI Crash in Orange County
The former adult film star Jenna Jameson, 38, recently pleaded not guilty on July 27, 2012 to DUI charges from an Orange County crash that occurred on May 25, 2012. The alleged DUI crash occurred in Westminster, when Jameson wrapped her car around a light pole.
According to Westminster police, Jameson was driving her Range Rover at about 12:45 a.m. when she crashed into a light pole at the intersection of Westminster Boulevard and Springdale Street.
Westminster police arrested Jameson after she failed a field sobriety test. Police stated that Jameson’s blood-alcohol level was .13 at the time of the crash—.05 percent above the state’s legal limit. Upon taking her into custody, she was charged with three misdemeanor counts including:
- Having a blood-alcohol level over California’s legal limit
- Driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs
- Driving on a suspended license
Law enforcement also commented that Jenna Jameson, whose real name is Jenna Marie Massoli, had Ambien and Suboxone—two prescription drugs—in her system at the time of her Orange County auto accident. Jameson has had a known history of abuse, as she went to rehab for Oxycontin abuse in 2010.
Jameson lives in Huntington Beach with former UFC champion Tito Ortiz and raises twin boys.
According to police, she suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment. Jameson is due back in court on August 13, 2012.
