Santa Ana, CA – Multiple Drivers Crash on CA 55 at Edinger Ave, Leading to Injuries

Santa Ana, CA (February 22, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a highway in Santa Ana on Wednesday evening, February 22, according to officers with the Santa Ana Police Department.

Sources reported that the car accident happened at around 11:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of California Highway 55, close to the area of Edinger Avenue. Two vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided for unknown reasons.

Several responders, including Santa Ana fire crews and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained serious injuries, and the injured parties were ultimately rushed to local hospitals for treatment.

The roadway was blocked across most southbound lanes of traffic for some time but was cleared after midnight.
