Garden Grove, CA – Hai The Nguyen Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Lewis St at Chapman Ave
Garden Grove, CA (May 29, 2023) – According to the police, a 73-year-old Westminster resident was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident involving eight vehicles in the Garden Grove region.
The incident happened around 5:55 p.m. on Lewis Street, near Chapman Avenue. Sergeant Royce Wimmer of the Garden Grove Police Department confirmed that paramedics declared the victim deceased at the site. Officials have since identified the pedestrian as Hai The Nguyen.
No specific information about the crash’s cause was released, and it’s unclear if any other injuries or fatalities occurred. Officers stated that neither drugs nor alcohol played a role in the incident.
