Fatal Car Accidents in California

California leads the nation with some of the busiest and most dangerous roadways in the country. In 2018, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), reported that more than 3,500 people were killed in car accidents in California. Each year since then has had similar amounts of traffic fatalities. In the first three months of 2022, there were already over 1,000 deaths related to car accidents. There are many reasons accidents happen in California, such as texting while driving, speeding, impaired driving, or failing to yield or stop at traffic lights and stop signs. More than one-third of all road fatalities in the US are caused by reckless driving.

Losing a loved one is never an easy thing to deal with. This is especially true when their passing comes unexpectedly. If someone you love was killed in an accident caused by someone else’s careless or reckless behaviors, it’s important to hold the at-fault person responsible for their actions. When you lose a loved one, we know that no amount of money could replace that person’s presence in your life. However, filing a wrongful death suit against a negligent party can ensure that you get justice for your deceased family member and can help you to cope with their loss.

In the aftermath of losing a loved one, you shouldn’t have to deal with the stressful legal decisions alone and may be wondering where to turn for help. An experienced and compassionate attorney can help to handle these burdens for you.
