Orange, CA – Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash at Katella Ave & Shaffer St Under Investigation
Orange, CA (July 10, 2023) – On Saturday night, two or three drivers collided in a multi-vehicle, head-on accident in Orange, resulting in at least one fatality.
After receiving reports of a multi-vehicle crash near the corner of Katella Avenue and North Shaffer Street in Orange at about 8:30 p.m., officers with the Orange Police Department and local fire personnel rushed to the scene.
A vehicle, a pickup, and an SUV were severely damaged when they arrived. Per the latest information released by OPD authorities, one person inside the SUV was killed. It’s unclear if any victims involved were hurt as a result of the accident.
No additional details were made public, but authorities with the OPD are handling the ongoing investigation.
