Santa Ana, CA – Car Crash on I-405 Near Sand Canyon Ave Causes Injuries
Santa Ana, CA (April 17, 2023) – On Monday, April 17, several vehicles collided on a busy roadway in the Santa Ana area, resulting in a range of injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision reportedly occurred at 9:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 405 at Sand Canyon Avenue.
Emergency workers, including paramedics, firefighters, and others, were sent to the area to assist individuals in need. One or more injured people were sent to nearby hospitals for treatment. Unfortunately, their current conditions are still unknown.
Long-term closures affected the majority of southbound lanes. The officers removed the debris as quickly as possible and reopened the area about two hours after the initial crash took place.
