Santa Ana, CA – Injuries Occur in Vehicle Wreck on I-5 Near Bake Pkwy
Santa Ana, CA (August 3, 2023) – On Thursday evening, around 10:10 p.m., at least one person was reportedly injured in a car crash in the Santa Ana area.
Police said it happened on northbound I-5 near the Bake Parkway exit. According to the troopers, at least two vehicles crashed in the center lanes for unknown reasons, though it appears that a chain-reaction collision was the root cause of the incident.
Emergency medical technicians and firemen, among others, were requested at the scene. However, no details on the injured victims or their conditions were available.
Officers with the Santa Ana Police Department are still investigating during the interim.
