Santa Ana, CA – Injury Car Crash on SR 57 at Yorba Linda Blvd
Santa Ana, CA (August 15, 2023) – Santa Ana Police Department officers investigated a collision involving reported injuries and traffic delays on Tuesday morning, August 15.
At around 10:30 a.m., SAPD officers and troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the site of the wreck, located on the southbound side of California State Route 57, just before the exit to Yorba Linda Boulevard. The collision allegedly took place when two drivers crashed on the left-hand side of the highway for unknown reasons.
Emergency medical technicians were also dispatched to the scene in order to assist the victims. There were reports of injuries, but the law enforcement officials did not provide specific details on those involved.
The authorities have not discovered what led up to the crash, though the Santa Ana PD is handling the ongoing investigation. Witnesses with any additional information were asked to contact the SAPD as soon as possible.
