Santa Ana, CA (June 16, 2023) – Per early reports from troopers with the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle collision happened in Santa Ana on Friday afternoon, June 16, requiring an emergency response and leading to an unknown number of injuries.
CHP troopers reported that the incident occurred at roughly 1:10 p.m. on southbound Interstate 405 near Jamboree Road. At least two cars collided in the area, and CHP noted that units were dispatched just before 1:10 p.m.
The incident also required the assistance of paramedics, who were sent to the collision site around the same time. However, neither the total number nor the nature of the injuries sustained is known.
