Santa Ana, CA – Two People Killed in Fatal Crash on S Bristol St

Santa Ana, CA (February 5, 2022) – Two people were reportedly killed in a fatal crash that took place on a roadway in Santa Ana on Friday evening, February 4.

According to Orange County officials, the accident happened at 5:50 p.m. on South Bristol Street around the area of West Saint Andrew Place near the Mater Dei High School. When police arrived at the scene of the crash, they found that four vehicles collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles was on top of another. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two people involved in the accident, identified only as men in their 60s, were trapped in their vehicles. After being rescued, they were pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people sustained injuries, with three of these victims being transported to local hospitals for treatment.

All lanes of South Bristol were blocked in the area for a period of time until police had the scene cleared. One person was allegedly impaired at the time of the accident but police have not yet announced arrests.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
