Seaside, CA – One Killed in Fatal Crash on HWY 1
Seaside, CA (August 18, 2022) – On Monday evening, August 15 a serious accident was reported in Seaside that killed one person.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident occurred around 4 a.m. on Highway 1 near Lightfighter Drive. The accident occurred when two cars collided violently with each other.
Emergency personnel was called to the scene. The accident caused much damage to the involved vehicles and the area had delays as crews tended to the victims and cleared the accident.
One person involved in the accident suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and sadly it is reported that they died from their injuries. There is no information at this time as to whether anyone else was injured in the accident.
This is a developing story as police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and its causes.
