Westminster, CA – Woman Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run on Vallecito
Westminster, CA (October 31, 2023) – The intersection of Vallecito Avenue and University Street was the scene of a hit-and-run that was reported to the Westminster Police Department last Thursday at about 5:30 p.m., and officers are now looking for the suspect.
A red car turned left from westbound Vallecito Avenue into southbound University roadway without stopping for the victim, who was crossing the roadway at a crosswalk.
The driver continued heading south on University, and the woman who was struck reportedly sustained moderate injuries. Her current condition is unknown.
The WPD asked any witnesses in the area at the time of the incident to call their traffic division.
