Fullerton, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident at E Chapman Ave & Clark Ave

Fullerton, CA (March 9, 2022) – One person was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident that took place in Fullerton on Tuesday evening, March 8.

Orange County officials confirmed that the accident happened at 6:37 p.m. at the intersection of East Chapman Avenue and Clark Avenue. A driver was traveling westbound in the area when it struck a pedestrian who was walking in the northbound lanes of traffic. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Police found the pedestrian down in the westbound lanes with traumatic injuries. He was treated at the scene by first responders and then rushed to an area hospital. He was tragically pronounced dead while there.

Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
