Fullerton, CA – One Killed, Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Harbor Blvd & La Entrada Pl
Fullerton, CA (October 26, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, October 23, a multi-vehicle crash was reported in Fullerton that killed one person and injured three others.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and La Entrada Place. The accident occurred when a Kia was traveling north on Harbor Boulevard, approaching La Entrada Place. A Volkswagen was making a turn east onto La Entrada Place when both cars crashed into each other in the intersection. The Kia and Volkswagen both spun out of control due to the force of the impact. They came to a rest on the north side of the intersection near a bus bench. A Dodge was traveling in the vicinity when the collision occurred and veered to avoid the collision but spun out of control as a result. The Dodge came to a stop a block away at Harbor Boulevard and Hermosa Drive.
Emergency personnel was called to the scene. The driver of the Kia suffered catastrophic injuries and sadly died at the scene of the accident. The name of the victim has not been released at this time. The driver and a passenger in the Volkswagen and a passenger in the Dodge also sustained injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics assessed those that were injured at the accident scene and then rushed all three individuals to a local hospital for further treatment.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and the events leading up to the impact. The accident caused the area to be shut down for many hours as crews tended to the victims and cleared the accident.
