Huntington Beach, CA (January 20, 2024) – There was a reported collision between a car and a motorcycle on Saturday evening, January 20, and the Huntington Beach Fire Department and the Huntington Police Department responded.

Upon arrival, the initial responding units discovered a vehicle, two motorcycles, and one rider on the ground, injured from a collision with the car. The incident occurred at Center Street and Gothard Street around 6:30 p.m. Firefighters and paramedics treated the rider, but they were ultimately declared deceased at the site. The role of drugs or alcohol in the accident is unclear, though authorities continue to investigate. It’s also unclear if any other victims were hurt in the wreck.
