La Habra, CA – One Killed, One Injured in Crash at Lambert Rd & Walnut St
La Habra, CA (November 21, 2022) – On Saturday evening, November 19, a serious accident was reported in La Habra that tragically killed one person and injured another.
According to officials, the accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Lambert Road and Walnut Street. According to police, the accident happened when two vehicles crossed into each other’s path and collided at full speed for reasons that are unknown at this time. The impact of the crash severely damaged both of the involved vehicles.
Emergency personnel was called to the scene. Firefighters and paramedics quickly responded to the accident and worked to help the victims and tend to their injuries. Despite the paramedic’s efforts, one person, the driver of one of the vehicles, sustained catastrophic injuries and died at the scene of the accident. A second person, the driver of the other vehicle, was severely injured in the accident and was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital for further treatment. The police have not yet released the identity of the person that was killed in the accident.
The accident delayed local traffic for many hours as crews tended to the victims, conducted their investigation, and cleared the accident. The area of Lambert Road and Walnut Street was closed for a time following the crash.
The police are still investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
