Five Injured in Santa Ana Car Accident After Police Chase

According to the authorities, as a couple was trying to flee from the police, their car smashed into another vehicle that was carrying a family of four. The vehicle had two young boys in it, both were injured.

The accident which took place on July 24, 2013, in the city of Santa Ana injured a total of five people. Two young boys were injured, one was 4 years-old and one was 10 years-old. The boys are brothers. The younger brother suffered from injuries that are considered to be minor. The older brother suffered injuries that are considered to be moderate, according to Division Chief Kris Concepcion of the Orange County Fire Authority.

The parents of the two boys were also injured in the Orange County auto accident. They suffered from injuries that are considered minor. The man who was driving the other vehicle being pursued in the chase suffered from broken bones in his lower extremities.

It all began as the couple were stopped by the police on Cedar Street near Edinger Avenue. At this time the reason the stop was made has not been released.

“The officer was doing some type of investigation of the man and wife, and for some reason the suspect takes off,” Cpl. Anthony Bertagna told The Times.

The force of the crash caused the caused the suspect’s car to be overturned.

The police arrived immediately to the scene.

Everyone who was injured in the accident is suspected to make a full recover from their injuries.

There has not yet been any further details released to the public.
