Seal Beach, CA – Injuries Reported in Car Accident on I-405 Near Seal Beach Blvd
Seal Beach, CA (February 28, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a major highway in Seal Beach on Monday afternoon, February 28.
Orange County officials confirmed that the accident happened at 2:32 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-405 around the area of Seal Beach Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Several victims were allegedly injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in all northbound lanes of traffic as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays in the area for some time.
