Fullerton, CA (November 24, 2023) – Late Wednesday night, a woman who was believed to be driving under the influence crashed into a residence for elderly citizens, according to the Fullerton police.

The collision occurred close to the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and North Acacia Avenue just before midnight. Police say that a white Nissan Rogue slammed into a wall at the  Cambridge Court complex. The woman was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. EMTs assessed a handful of people at the scene for injuries, though all are expected to recover. It’s unclear how many residents were hurt in the crash, however. An investigation remains ongoing in the interim.
