Fatal Car Accidents in California

California leads the county with the busiest and most dangerous roadways. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2018, more than 3,500 people were killed in car accidents in California. The number of traffic-related fatalities has increased each year since 2018, and 2022 is sadly on pace to exceed previous years’ total fatalities as well. In 2022 there were already over 1,000 car accident deaths in the first three months. There are many reasons accidents happen in California, with some of the most common being texting while driving, speeding, impaired driving, or failing to yield or stop at traffic lights and stop signs.

Losing a loved one is never easy to handle, which is especially true when their passing came unexpectedly and tragically. If someone you love was killed in an accident caused by someone else’s careless or reckless behaviors, holding the at-fault person responsible for their actions is important. When you lose a loved one, we understand that no amount of money could replace that person’s presence in your life. However, filing a wrongful death suit against a negligent party can ensure that you get justice for your deceased family member and can help you to cope with their loss and the financial expenses that have arisen since their passing.

After losing a loved one, you shouldn’t have to deal with these stressful matters alone and may be wondering where to turn for help. An experienced and compassionate attorney can help you handle legal issues and burdens.
