Santa Ana, CA – Injuries Recorded in Car Crash on I-5 at Newport Ave
Santa Ana, CA (September 13, 2023) – At least two people were hurt in an automobile collision that occurred on September 13 around 4:30 a.m. in the Santa Ana region, just outside of Santa Ana.
The collision, according to CHP officials, occurred on southbound I-5 near the Newport Avenue exit. Troopers have reported that a collision involving two or three automobiles occurred in the central lanes of the highway.
In addition, police said that rescue workers such as EMTs and firefighters had been sent to the area to aid the wounded. Local television video showed EMTs evaluating patients, suggesting at least one person was harmed.
Since the tragedy was originally reported, police have not offered any updates on the victims’ health or released any new information to the public.
